Managing Enforcement Actions
Learn how to create, review, and manage enforcement actions in the State Examination System (SES).
SES provides tools for regulatory agencies to initiate and manage enforcement actions associated with supervisory activities. Enforcement actions allow agencies to document enforcement matters, coordinate with other regulators, and track enforcement activity throughout the lifecycle of the action.
Depending on the circumstances, enforcement actions may be created directly in SES or generated automatically when a supervisory activity is referred to enforcement during close out. Once created, enforcement actions can be reviewed, updated, and moved through workflow milestones as the enforcement process progresses.
The topics below describe common tasks for managing enforcement actions in SES, including initiating enforcement actions, reviewing enforcement action records, adding related information, inviting other agencies to participate in multi-state enforcement actions, and progressing the enforcement action through the enforcement workflow.
