Verifying Company Users

Every 90 days, the account administrators, SA Contact, or Complaints Contact at each company must verify its users in SES. They are expected to review their company's existing users and remove access for anyone that no longer needs it.

About this task

This task displays the last time a user accepted the Terms of Use, which is a good proxy for the last time the user has accessed the system. By completing this important task, companies can ensure that only authorized users at their company have access to SES.

Ensuring that only authorized users of your company have access to SES is the responsibility of each company. As staff changes occur in the company, their SES accounts should be updated or provisioned accordingly.

Important: Your company is unable to respond to supervisory activity tasks in SES until the user verification task is completed.
Note: An email is sent to account administrators, the SA Contact, and the Complaints Contact every 90 days when the Verify Company Users task is generated.

Procedure

  1. Click Verify Company Users in the Tasks section on the left side of the homepage.
  2. Review the list of users, removing any that no longer need an account in SES.
    1. To remove a user, click the user's hyperlinked name to view their user profile.
    2. Click Remove User.
      Click the Remove User button to deleite inactive users from SES.
  3. Once all inactive users have been removed, click Verify Users for all remaining active users.
    Click Verify Users to complete the monthly user verification process.
