Responding to Agent Location Requests
Explains how companies review and respond to agent location requests submitted by state agencies in SES, including providing or confirming agent location details, uploading supporting documentation, and submitting responses for review.
When a state agency issues an Agent Location Request in SES, the company must provide details about one or more authorized agent locations associated with its money services business license. These requests allow regulators to verify that the company’s agent network is accurately reported and operating in compliance with applicable requirements.
Companies can use this feature to:
- Assign agent location requests to participants on an SA.
- Validate contact information.
- Provide response information.
- Upload any supporting documentation requested by the agency.
- Submit responses to the agency for review and follow-up.
After submission, the agency reviews the company’s responses and may associate the agent location requests with examination findings. Timely and accurate responses help ensure compliance and streamline the examination process.
