Managing the Scope
The scope determines the content that will be reviewed during a supervisory activity, including the review period, business types and business activities, and the areas for review within the selected business types and activities.
SES allows you to define the scope by either:
- Defining the Scope by Creating a New Scope
- Defining the Scope by Copying the Scope of an Existing SA
This functionality supports the objectives of networked supervision by giving state agencies another tool to collaborate and leverage the work of other agencies. See Leveraging Another Agency's Supervisory Activity for more information.
Selecting a work program automatically populates the AFRs that correspond to the work program. The AFRs that are “key” to a work program are identified by a green ribbon icon .
Removing any of the key AFRs associated with a work program removes the work program badge from the SA.
If you manually add all of the key AFRs for a work program, a badge is automatically applied. You have the option to remove the badge by re-selecting the "Manually Add AFRs" button. See SES Work Programs for further details.
