Conducting the Exam: Working Procedures

Conducting the exam consists of reviewing IR responses, working procedures, and adding or reviewing findings and finding commentary. When working procedures, you are adding examiner observations, uploading relevant documents, and marking procedures done.

Note: Once a Supervisory Activity is moved to In-Flight, procedures are added to the SA.
  • Single-state Exams: Standard and agency core procedures are automatically added to the SA based on the scope type selected.
  • Multi-state Exams: Only the standard core procedures are automatically added to the SA based on the scope type selected.

If you are conducting an Investigation, the core and non-core designation for procedures and IRs is not automatically added.

To learn more about agency and standard core information requests, please refer to the Managing the Library article.
