Canceling Information Requests for a Complaint

You can also cancel Information Request (IR) that are no longer applicable. A notification is sent to the company for this action.

Procedure

  1. Navigate to the complaint.
    The list of all open complaints
  2. Click Information Requests.
    Click information requests to view the IRs for this complaint
  3. Click the IR ID hyperlink for the desired IR in a “Sent to Company” status.

  4. Click Cancel Information Request.

  5. Click Cancel Information Request.

    Note: The company will no longer be able to respond to the information request.
    The company is sent a notification that the information request was canceled.
