Responding to a Complaint IR Due Date Extension Request

Companies can request an extension for the due dates of information requests (IRs). You can choose to accept or reject their requested due date. You also have the option of entering a new due date for the IR.

About this task

Note: You must be the Agency POC or a Complaint Supervisor to respond to IR due date extension requests.

You receive a notification from SES when a company requests a due date extension for an IR.

The Complaints Company POC is the individual responsible for sending complaint IR responses to the agency. This person can also review and update responses drafted by other complaints users.

Procedure

  1. Navigate to the complaint.
  2. Click Information Requests.
    Click information requests to view the IRs for this complaint
  3. Click View Details in the Extension Requests section.

  4. Click Review IR Extension Request.

  5. Select the desired review decision:
    • Accept
    • Reject
    • Enter a new due date
  6. Click Accept or Reject Extension Request.

Results

The IR due date is updated according to your response. The response information is captured in the Extension Requests section. The Company POC receives a notification.
