Changing the Subject of a Complaint
You can update the subject of a complaint to a different company, branch, individual, or non-NMLS entity.
About this task
Note: All Complaint Supervisors and Managers can update a complaint.

Procedure

Navigate to the complaint.

Click Update Subject.
Note: The button only appears for open complaints where information requests have not yet been sent to the subject.

Select the type of subject.
- Search for the subject.
- Enter the required information.
- Click Update Complaint Subject.
